Plain City, UT – When entrepreneur Adam Frei decided to live the “American Dream” – to be his own boss and run his own business – he opened a FiiZ specialty soda shop in Plain City, Utah. “This is something I have always wanted to do; I am so happy to have been able to buy a FiiZ franchise and realize my dream.”
“Our shop looks pretty cool because it was designed and built using storage containers. The shop is located in an area that is growing and expanding,” said Frei. “It is a perfect location. We are near businesses and schools, so our customers can stop by on the way to or from work and when they pick up or drop off their kids at school.”
The shop offers drive-through and walk-up ordering at 3635 W. 2600 N., Plain City, UT 84404. They also have an outdoor seating area.
FiiZ is a specialty soda shop that offers unique refreshments that are customized to “Your FiiZ, Your Way”. Flavored syrups, fresh fruits, purees, and creams are added and mixed into your favorite soda to elevate your drink and your day. FiiZ also has a variety of salty snacks, sweet treats, flavored waters, energy drinks, and dozens of hot drink options.
“We have an incredible and reliable staff,” said Frei, who hires primarily high school students from the local area. “I am surprised at how easy they were to train and how caring, trustworthy, and honest they are. We have great people serving great products that I am proud of.”
Frei opened his shop this summer and is adjusting to the flow of customers now that school is back in session. “Our biggest rushes happen when parents are heading to drop off their kids at school and after school. And, of course, we have a big lunch rush. My biggest priority is customer satisfaction. I want our customers to be taken care of quickly so they don’t have to wait long for a fantastic drink or pretzel.”
FiiZ is open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Fridays, 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
“We are working on getting the word out to our community that we are open. We want to support our local community, schools, and sports teams by helping them with fundraisers by selling FiiZ “Buy one Get one” punch cards,” he said.
“Stop by and say hi and grab yourself a “Berry Bad Dr.” (Dr. Pepper, raspberry puree, vanilla, coconut, and cream), our most popular drink, or maybe you want a “Captain Jack Sparrow” (Coca-Cola, coconut, pineapple, raspberry, and cream), said Frei. “Or we are happy to make up your own specialty drink.”
FiiZ hosts events like Family Night, where you get one free if you buy three drinks. “Follow us on social media; we post lunch specials, events, and other discount days on our Instagram @fiiz_drinksplaincity,” he said.
